Students will enroll in the following:

  • Two Veritas courses
    • Veritas course Global Missions Perspectives (3 credits)
    • International Missions/Service Learning Practicum (1-3 credits Pass/Fail)
  • Up to 15 credits at Charles University to maintain full-time student status

VERITAS COURSES

Participation in Veritas courses is required in order to enhance the Veritas experience.

 

Global Missions Perspectives (3 credits/45 contact hours)

This is a course to prepare students to defend the Christian faith in a loving manner, from a scientific and logical perspective. Major attention is given to the questions that Christians and non-Christians ask regarding the creation of the world, the existence of God, the life and resurrection of Jesus, and the validity of biblical revelation. Philosophical, scientific and theological topics will be discussed through the course. (Download syllabus here)

International Missions/Service Learning Practicum (1-3 credits Pass/Fail)

The practicum will enrich the program and mission experience through reflection assignments, research, and journaling. Participation is required in order to enhance the mission experience. Students will receive one credit upon completing the assignments and service participation. Students may elect to submit a log of hours for up to two additional credits. (Download syllabus here)
