What's Included

Comprehensive Advising and Support
Beginning with the initial inquiry, students and their families are provided with the most up-to-date information regarding their program of choice. Staff members around the world are prepared to answer questions and addresses concerns. For the duration of their program abroad, students are supported by on-site resident staff who assist with all aspects of their living and university experience.

Tuition at Host University
Tuition and administrative fees at the host university are included in the program price. Some classes have additional fees which are not included in the program price.

Official Transcripts Issued by Host University and CBU with Veritas Cover Letter
Upon the successful completion of an Veritas program, the student's host university will issue an official transcript that lists all coursework taken at the University.  California Baptist University will issue the transcript for all Veritas courses abroad. Veritas will send this transcripts to the appropriate office at the student's home university. Additionally, Veritas will provide a cover letter explaining the host university's grading system and a translation of the transcript, as necessary.

Christian Community and Mission Work
All Veritas students are given the opportunity to participate in mission work while they are abroad.  Veritas has relationships with different pastors, missionaries, church planters and other Christians in and around the host city.  Depending on their interests, students can participate in a range of different types of mission work.  Bible studies, small groups, worship sessions and mentoring are possibilities while abroad.

Full -Time Resident Staff
Resident staff usually works from 9am-8pm and are available to assist students should any issues arise during their program. Our on-site staff organizes excursions, arrange cultural activities and assist in students’ adjustments to a new culture and way of life.

On-Site Office
On-site offices are a resource center for students. Most office are equipped with computers and high speed internet, and have common areas for socializing and relaxing.

On-Site Orientation
Upon arrival students are given an on-site orientation where they are informed of academic schedules, safety information, detailed information on excursions and information on cell phones. These orientations are conducted by our resident directors, allowing students a chance to familiarize themselves with our directors even before they begin class.

Computer and Internet Access
Students enjoy free computer and/or internet access at the London on-site office. Students also have access to computer labs and WIFI at the host universities.

Transportation from London Heathrow Airport
Ground transportation is provided from the airport for students who arrive during the designated arrival dates and times.

Housing in Residence halls:
Each student will have en-suite accomidations with their own room and bathroom.  Kitchen and laundry room facilities are shared with approximately 5-8 students within a hall. £300 refundable housing deposit will be charged to students living in the Veritas England Dorms.

Excursions
Excursions are a unique opportunity to better know the region and country. All entrance fees and ground transportation are included in the program price, as well as accommodations for multi-day excursions. 

Cultural Activities
In order to maximize cultural immersion, the program staff develops unique cultural activities. These custom-designed activities invite students to experience the local color of their host city, while learning about the history and culture of their new surroundings. Speaking the native language with locals, tasting the regional cuisine, and partaking in the native traditions are just a few of the ways these cultural activities lead to full appreciation of the program city.

Medical Insurance
Comprehensive medical insurance is provided during the official period of the program. Extensions of medical coverage can be made for an additional fee if students plan to be abroad before or after the program period.

24 hour Emergency Assistance
Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00am - 7:00pm and Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm Central Time. For students or parents who need assistance in an emergency situation outside of the regular office hours, please call the 1-800-580-8826. Abroad students also have access to on-site staff 24 hours a day.
