Host University & Other Scholarships

In addition to those offered by Veritas Christian Study Abroad, scholarship opportunities are available through several host universities and outside organizations that may be applied toward your Veritas program. Eligibility requirements vary based on field of study, host country, financial need, and student background. Please refer to each scholarship's website for further details.
HOST UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Korea University - Seoul
Korea University* supports ISA/Veritas study abroad students with scholarships totaling $6,000 USD for students participating in KU summer programs.
Korea University also offers a variety of scholarships directly to students. Future global leaders may apply for one of the Global KU Study Abroad Scholarships by submitting the KU scholarship application and additional documentation by January 30 for Semester 1 (Spring) enrollment and by July 30 for Semester 2 (Fall) enrollment.
Students from a participating Universitas 21 or APRU network of research-intensive universities, will automatically be considered for an applicable scholarship for study at KU. Recipients of any of the aforementioned awards will be issued the funds, directly from KU, in-country after the start of the semester.
Recipients are awarded up to $5000 to defray the costs associated with studying abroad.
Funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), these scholarships provide up to $20,000 to undergraduate students from the US to study abroad in areas of the world that are underrepresented in study abroad.
£500 scholarships are awarded each year to currently registered students at US universities who will study abroad at a BUTEX member institution in the UK. (All current ISA UK host universities are members which means all ISA England, Scotland & Northern Ireland students can apply for this scholarship.)
FEA awards funds to students planning to study abroad on academically rigorous programs with a strong preference for underrepresented students. FEA is expanding access to study abroad by raising awareness of its benefits to the individual and value to the collective, and by granting scholarships of up to $10,000.
- Athletes Abroad Scholarship - available to applicants who are student-athletes (club, intramural, or varsity) participating in any program or subject that confers credits toward degree completion.
- BASAA Scholarship - awarded to a deserving student who attends a U.S. university/college located in the BASAA area (Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Connecticut).
- Texas Scholarship - awarded to a deserving student who attends a U.S. university/college located in Texas.
- Minnesota Scholarship - awarded to a deserving student who attends a U.S. university/college located in Minnesota.
- PDX Abroad Scholarship - awarded to a deserving student who attends a U.S. university/college located in the Portland, Oregon-area.
- Hiliary Echo Douglas Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to one student each year planning to study abroad in Vietnam or within other Southeast Asian cultures.

Go Overseas awards one $500 scholarship to a student studying abroad through a photo essay contest.
The Hispanic College Fund reaches out to Latino college students in need.
Hostelling International USA (HI USA) is committed to creating a more tolerant world, and these scholarships create a whole new breed of young travelers inspired to make the world a better place, but lack the financial means to go abroad. Recipients of the scholarship receive $2,000 to help finance their international trip as long as they have an educational or service component to their itinerary.
The National Italian American Foundation awards scholarships and grants to outstanding Italian-American students on the basis of academic merit.
Fifty $1,000 grants are awarded each year to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad.
Ambassadorial scholarships offered through local Rotary clubs.
SCSF provides need-based grants ranging from $1500 to $2500.
STA has created two $2500 scholarships for students for a study abroad program. These awards are part of STA Travel's mission to make international education accessible.
Tortuga Backpacks offer a $1,000 study abroad scholarship and one travel backpack. Two scholarships are offered each year, one for the spring semester and one for the fall semester.
UNCF offers an array of scholarship programs from the nation's largest minority education organization.
