This module builds on the first year Anthropology modules, where students will have been introduced to key theoretical developments (functionalism, structural-functionalism, structuralism, Marxism, feminism and post-modernism) through a chronological approach. This chronology will also be observed, but the emphasis will be on how the theoretical developments have shaped anthropological understandings both today and in the past.
