London is an extraordinary city, in which history, culture, and desire collide. It is a city of stories like no other, and has inspired brilliant writing for hundreds of years. Now it is your turn to join the conversation. This module aims to enable you to situate your own writing about London in relation to key texts that have helped shape the way we think about and experience London. Each week we will address a specific topic, with key works of fiction at the centre of our discussion.
The assessment for this module is based on two elements. The ability to clearly present your own ideas in both verbal and written form are vital transferrable skills. So is being able to work equally effective on your own, and as part of a team. The assessment for this module aims to develop your grasp of all of these skills.
