Overview
This module provides an introduction to techniques of film analysis, focusing on aspects such as genre, narrative
and thematic structure as well as the relationship between film and social context. Students will also learn to
analyse individual scenes and sequences, looking at compositional elements such as editing, soundtrack,
lighting, camera angles etc.
