Overview
This module reviews current knowledge of the development of perception, thought, language and
communication in the period from infancy to early adolescence. Workshops allow students to review common
elements of method in developmental psychology, particularly those involved in carrying out effective
experiments. Group practical projects provide experience in discussing, reviewing, planning and executing
developmental research with the department?s on-site playgroup.
