Overview

Course Outline
Principles of analytical chemistry applied to quantitative and qualitative analysis of environmental contaminants are taught in this course. Specifically, statistics and experimental data, gravimetric and volumetric analysis, acid-base chemistry and titration, introduction to instrumental analysis are covered.

Course Objective
Students are expected to learn basic principles of analytical chemistry related with environmental analysis. They are expected to understand fundamental theories, methods and analytical procedures.

Recommended pre-requisite
LIET 151 and LIET 152 or any equivalent courses
