Course Outline
We will cover several topics from industrial organization including firms' pricing, price discrimination, product differentiation, industry structures. Based on Industrial Organization, we would some selected antitrust topics such as market definition, antitrust market, merger review and vertical constraints.

Course Objective
The core topics of this course include:

-Industry Structure such as vertical and horizone ones
-Oligopoly Competition such as Bertrand and Cournot competition
-Price Discrimination and pricing strategies
-Complements, value net, and strategy;
-Network effects, positive feedback, lock-in or being stranded;
-Alliances and standards;
-Intellectual property rights, corporate strategy and anti-trust constraints;
-Merger Evaluation

Textbook, Material
We would hand out lecture ppt. Course would go based on these ppt slides. Any industrial organization textbook would be complementary. This course would include several antitrust cases.
