Overview

Course Outline

This course covers nanobiomaterial science that integrates the rapidly emerging fields of organic nanomaterial science and chemistry with bionanotechnology and nanobiomedical engineering. Specifically, this course covers how organic molecules and/or inorganic ions interact to assemble various interactive nanostructures, including organic/inorganic nanoparticles and natural biomacromolecules synthesized by cells.

Course Objective

To understand the assembly and characterization techniques of organic molecules and/or inorganic ions into various nanobiomaterials and their dynamic nanobiomedical applications.
