Study + Service

Students minister alongside Mission Mentors, Cary & Sharon Owen, in language exchanges to reach Spaniards with the Gospel and meet locals. Students also host gatherings and events for their host families and the neighborhood the Owens live in and serve with their church in a town 20 minutes from Sevilla.

Spanish Language

Students of all language levels are welcome to study at the Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo and have a wide variety of courses in English to choose from. For students that wish to learn or to improve their Spanish will be able to take courses in Spanish Language (from beginner to advanced) or content courses in Spanish. All students will take a placement exam upon arrival to determine language proficiency level. Exam results may determine eligibility for course enrollment. Students who arrive having completed the following number of semesters/quarters of college-level Spanish, or the equivalent, typically place into the corresponding language level:

Academic Credits

All students will need to work with Liberty University to get pre-approval for course transfer equivalency. This will vary from department to department and is up to the discretion of the academic advisor. For visa regulations, and according to Veritas Christian Study Abroad policy, students must maintain full-time enrollment status for the duration of the program as determined by their home institution.
