Overview

GENERAL GOALS
After course completion, the student will have:
- Learned the gene and genome structure in living beings
- Acquired a solid base of genetic information and regulation of gene expression
- Learned the main mechanisms for gene transmission
- Obtained a comprehensive view of gene structure, function and transmission
- Solved theoretical or practical problems in Molecular Genetics
- Used the main laboratory techniques in Molecular Genetics
- Developed the ability to argue the scientific basis to society concerns based on genetic issues
