Alyssa Segura: Program Manager, England

Alyssa hails from Austin, Texas and graduated from St. Edward's University as a first-generation college student. As an undergraduate she studied in the Loire Valley and the Anjou province of France and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the United Kingdom. Alyssa's interest to work in international education was inspired during her time as a peer mentor for first-time study abroad students in France. She is a film enthusiast, regularly attends pub quizzes, and enjoys Marvel comics, camping, and strong coffee.

Maria Suvagau, Resident Director

Maria joined the ISA family in 2007 and has played a significant role in the growth of the ISA UK and Ireland programs. Maria loves working and living in the most diverse city in the world! She strives to help ISA students gain a meaningful personal, educational and cultural experience through the ISA programs. Maria has a BA and MBA from the University of Minnesota. Maria has extensive experience in the education abroad field, leading and managing programs in the United States, the United Kingdom and other European countries. In her little spare time, Maria loves singing and exploring the London musical scene. Maria is very passionate about bringing the experiential learning and the benefits of education abroad to the students and making the students' experience in England valuable and rewarding!

 

Marina Kozhuharova, Assistant Resident Director

Marina joined ISA in 2010 after graduating from King's College London with a degree in International Commercial and Financial Law. Marina has traveled extensively throughout Europe and believes that study abroad is essential to personal growth and offers fantastic opportunities to discover the world at large. Among her favorite places in London are the River Thames Embankment, Tower Bridge and Greenwich Park. Marina is very excited to show the ISA students London's diverse cultural and historic heritage.

 

Shelby Staub, Student Services and Internship Coordinator

Shelby received her B.A. in Communication at St. Edward's University in Texas where her first study abroad experience led her to Edinburgh, Scotland for a summer. Shelby then got the travel bug and found her passion for education abroad while studying with ISA in London for a semester-long program. She then returned to London to receive her MSc in International Management with HRM. After graduation, she moved to Ireland for a year and a half before moving back to her favorite city, London! Shelby enjoys inspiring other students to experience life in another culture whether that be by studying, working or holiday time. In her free time, Shelby enjoys cooking, learning languages, spending time with her husband and exploring London.
