Much of our thinking about children and childhood is influenced directly or indirectly by psychoanalysis. This module introduces students, first, to the theories and case studies of Freud, and second, to some of Freud's most important successors. It provides an opportunity for students of Childhood and Society to further their understanding of the psychology of childhood.
