This module will look at case law, particularly in the light of the European Convention on Human Rights, and its implementation in the UK in the form of the Human Rights Act 1998, but also in respect of international law. The focus is very much on understanding human rights as they are defined in law and considering different cases and appeals which have been brought under these acts and conventions.
