Overview
This module aims to provide students with an understanding of the institutional and economic operating
environment of British and international sport. It will explore the concept of governance in the sporting context
and illustrate sport governance in practice. This module will allow students to understand the administration and
management of sport organisations, the ways in which sport is governed and of sport governance failures.
