Overview

Course Description
The goal of this course is to provide students with an understanding of principles of organization theory and design, and to enable students to design and lead value-creating organizations.

Class Participation
Class discussion is an important component of the learning processes in this class. Students are supposed to read required readings and cases, think through key issues, and share their opinions in class. For preparation, review questions will be provided at the beginning of semester.

Participation includes:
-Generating ideas and questions; initiating discussion.
-Presenting a different perspective.
-Analyzing concepts; weighing the advantages/disadvantages of alternatives.
-Sharing experiences and providing examples that illustrate or refute concepts
being discussed.
-Helping other students make their point.
-Summarizing key points; reaching conclusions
