Overview

Course Outline
This class will be a flipped class. Tuesday is online class day (You do not have to come to class this day, but you will study my lecture using online materials such as MP4 file) and Thursday class is Off-line class (You will come to class and solve very simple Quiz (to confirm whether students watch on the online lecture or not) and do different kinds of activities to learn practical knowledge of exercise nutrition. The lecture is composed of mainly six parts. 1. Energy 2. Energy metabolism 3. Carbohydrate and fat mobilization and use during exercise 4. Measurement of energy in food and during physical activity 5. Nutritional considerations for intense training and sports competition 6. Weight control.

Course Objective
Students will learn the knowledge of Exercise and sports nutrition and furthermore how to apply for these knowledge in the areas of sports science.

Recommended pre-requisite
Only Students who have taken 'exercise physiology' can take this class. Students cannot understand the contents of the lecture if not having the knowledge of 'exercise physiology.'
