Ministry Opportunities

While abroad, students will be partnered with a Veritas Mentor who will help them get involved with ministry opportunities and connect them with a local church and the Christian community in Cape Town. Students will meet regularly with their Mentor for prayer, reflection, and spiritual accountability; the spiritual support and opportunities will make their time abroad transformational! 

Ministry opportunities in Cape Town can include getting involved in the Veritas Mentor’s church plant, being exposed to some of the church planting preparation training alongside the Mentor, studying the culture of the neighborhood the church is being planted in through surveying and prayer walking, children’s ministry with children in the neighborhood through a homework club and skateboard clinics, and starting and leading a Bible study on campus.
